The ending thankfully wasn't rushed and left me feeling satisfied (I hate watching movies that leave you wandering). Soon, Rashmi also reciprocates his feelings. She is the daughter of an aspiring politician who also heads a culture protection group. It's love at first sight for him when he comes across Rashmi who joins his workplace as an intern.
Set in Mathura, Guddu is a star reporter in a local news channel. However, things turn chaotic when they begin a live-in relationship and their family knows about it. The movie revolves around a star reporter of a local TV channel. In my opinion the cast did superb & had me feeling their emotions. It portrays a deep message of eternal love and compromise in such a simple yet effective manner. It demonstrates the importance of a man & woman both staying true to themselves & not losing their own personalities or what's important to them just because they are married. It is progressive whilst maintaining Indian authenticity, the female lead Aisha is a progressive character and the film manages to effectively demonstrate the challenges a marriage of two people with different aspirations can bring. Unlike most Bollywood films this movie is relatable - there is no melodramatics or A-list stars, it just has a subtle storyline which in my opinion is ahead of its time. Watched this movie thinking it would be a typical Bollywood boy meets stubborn girl kind of movie with no substance, however I was pleasantly surprised to find the direction and storyline of this movie.
